How It Works
[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1672″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]The MR PTToC system relies  on data transfer through 3G, 4G & 5G.

Your voice travels through the MR system as data. The MR POC 2 Way Radio coverts the users voice into data, thus it is highly secure.

The bits and pieces to make the MR PTToC System work. By the time you get it, it will be plug and play, however we need to know what you need. Users cannot access the MR PTToC system or your ‘customised private network’ without providing the relevant information, it simply will not work, no one can hack it.

Step1. GROUP IDENTIFICATION

  • MR requires you to identify how many users you wish to have in your private customised GROUP. It can have 2-2000 users.
  • MR customers may know the GROUP traditionally as an ‘Open Group Channel’ on trunking systems, or a ‘Channel’ on basic radio systems such a Police, Fire & Ambulance Systems.
  • The MR PTToC system is available to the public to 2 or more users, however it is not the same as UHF CB, PMR or FRS, standard UHF & VHF Commercial Systems otherwise called Land Mobile Radio (LMR). MR uses similar language to assist user transition into the modern world.

Step2. INDIVIDUAL CALL REQUIREMENTS

  • This is required as it is not automatic. We need to active it on the back end of the system. MR

Step 3. BUY SYSTEM ACCESS

  • To access the MR PTToC System you must subscribe. $15.00 AU a month incl GST.

Step 4. BUY NETWORK ACCESS

  • NETWORK ASSStep 5. But DeviceStep 6. Buy programmingStep 7. We ShipStep 8. They registered warranty.Step 9. They buy training…I cant teach that remote.

HOW DOES IT WORK!

Our devices cover all the current bands.

Other devices do not, and the cheap ones available out there are not Australian or New Zealand legally compliant and may result in large fines literally in the hundreds of thousands of dollars mark. Ours are what is called RCM compliant.  It is not worth the risk. That aside POC devices without the ‘Band Coverage’ can significantly lower your area of coverage and reliability.

For security reasons we program the device so there is no compromise with over the air programming. The POC device does not need firmware upgrades so that is one less thing to be concerned about. Each POC device is programmed to connect to a ‘User Group’ and each user is considered ‘a group member’.

You can have 2-2000 users in your group. Confused? Don’t be, traditionally a ‘Group’ would be considered a ‘Channel’. A private channel requires its own licence and infrastructure and is out of reach of most companies let alone families and private individuals. Not with our system, it uses the cellular network, the advantage is ‘instant push to talk voice communication’, wide area coverage and a great feature, an SOS Emergency Alert button.

The POC device can cover such and enormous area as it uses the cellular towers. Check out the coverage section for more information, and consider your cellular supplier.  When you see a POC device, they admittedly look like a little walkie-talkie. We chose that look as it is congruent with the public’s expectations when dealing with staff. How often have you seen a staff member on what looks like a mobile and thinking they are not present in their role, which is to assist you or provide a service?

So in short our POC devices are a mini computer that connects to the internet, it points to a server located in Australia. We do have an extensive list overseas where required. The POC device turns your analogue voice into data, its called encodes it, sends that data though the internet into your group ‘in summary’, each users device, which can be a POC, Mobile Phone App, Tablet or Software Dispatcher then ‘decodes’ or unpacks your highly encrypted communication.  These devices are very secure. How the POC resolves clarity is by listening for the strongest signal, and automatically connects and adjusts the power to suit the signal strength to preserve battery power.

If you really want, on the back end of the system we can activate users to be able to call each other individually, however it somewhat defeats the purpose of push to talk.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”30px”][vc_single_image image=”1676″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” overlay_dotted=”” css=”.vc_custom_1481544875104{margin-top: 65px !important;}”][vc_column][krth_ctas][krth_cta]0413 470 210 Call us today to discuss our safety solutions[/krth_cta][krth_button button_text=”Contact Us” button_link=”https://www.multiradio.com.au/contact/” open_link=”” simple_hover=”” text_color=”#ffffff” text_hover_color=”#ffffff” css=”.vc_custom_1563928723240{background-color: #131d33 !important;}”][/krth_ctas][/vc_column][/vc_row]
